As an architect fascinated by the blend of history and modernity, Restaurant Anno 1617 provided a unique backdrop for our family vacation in the picturesque town center of old Glückstadt. Despite the hotel not having a restaurant, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, ensuring we felt welcome from the moment we arrived.Our room, though dated, was clean and provided a cozy retreat after exploring the town's historic treasures. One particular highlight for our family was the excellent food at the restaurant. The staff went above and beyond in making our dining experience memorable, especially for our young child under six years old. The family-friendly atmosphere and accommodating amenities made us feel right at home. The central location allowed us to easily explore the town's rich history and enjoy the nearby attractions, creating lasting memories for our family.
